I just read that Lucy Lawless is doing voice work on Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight. I guess that means there is a Dragonlance movie in the works /emoticons/smilewinkgrin.gif
Ironically, I just picked up two of the Dragonlance Chronicles at a library booksale a few weeks ago. I think this is one of them!
As far as D&D goes, I've never read the Dragonlance books, only Forgotten Realms.

I love Forgotten Realms - trying to collect all 208 because I'm a nutcase - but I hated every DragonLance I ever read... too straight D&D (and boring D&D at that) for me to get into.

Glad I only paid 50cents each then.
I am curious about Knaak's Minotaur trilogy, though, because he's been getting rather good praise for his Age of Conan trilogy.

I love the Age of Conan books... they would make a good set of movies, especially the one set in Stygia.
I actually think I have one of the Knaak Minotaur books in my collection, maybe I'll try this one and find some DragonLance I like...

Knaak writes a great minotaur novel, guys. And he owns them, in the DragonLance series - Kaz the Minotaur, Land of the Minotaurs, and his trilogy (which I've only read book 1 of).
I also liked his own personal series called DragonRealm - but Armand probably won't, cuz there's lots of magic and magic users.
And regardless of your feelings on the DragonLance series, I think Raistlin is one of the coolest characters ever. I like magic, so there! /emoticons/turn.gif

Well I hope they do it justice. Speaking of this, is anyone as interested in seeing the Japanese animated Earthsea as I am?
