Does anyone else think it's funny that when you click on the spreader link it comes up with options for manure spreaders? Sure sounds like a forum link to me. /emoticons/smile.gif

You owe me one for that low blow dear Armand. Don't think I didn't miss your Freudian slip there. Biting. Anne would be proud of you . . .

And not so obscure: I can have a political conversation with the vast Right Wing Conspiracy (Nathan, Erazmus and Beth S.) and everyone is not only friendly, but we all seem interested in what the other has to say. I think it helps that we all enjoy each others writing.
Plus, unlike some political writing I do for campaigns, I don't have to footnote.

As conspiracies go we're not all that vast, just sort of half-vast. And it does help that we like each other's work, though I try to avoid political ramblings much here, this place is collegial enough that I occasionally engage. Plus, as you said, don't have to footnote.
This board takes some of the anominity out of rejections, which is a good thing. I know some of the writers work that beat out mine at a given market and it makes the whole thing less tramatic. Plus, I can share in a buddy's success with congrats, takes the sting off the whole thing.

ROFL :) well...being rejected by a friend is a lot more pleasant than being rejected by a stranger. At least you know they didn't have something against you personally. And if they don't hide fast enough ya can ask 'em why! ;)

This is so true. Just to keep myself honest I go by newhounds [we watch fox nexs so you don't have to] and occassionally type.
Either the average IQ on this board is several points higher or ad homien name calling is considered perfectly legitimate debate nowadays.
Good site this.

Tarantino himself has been forward and unapologetic about his influences. In a 1994 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994) interview with Empire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire) magazine, he said, "I steal from every single movie ever made. If people don't like that, then tough tills, don't go and see it, all right? I steal from everything. Great artists steal, they don't do homages."

We're Spec. Fiction writers - That's an automatic increase of IQ points over the average brain-dead TV-holic
