Just a short note to say that nanobison just put out it's third quarterly issue (www.nanobison.com). We are looking for input (i.e. additional SUBMISSIONS) for the Q1 - 2005 issue, which will come out January 1st (or a little before, if we have any luck).

We have recently had three of our stories read on Oregon Public Broadcasting's "Golden Hours" TV program, and are looking toward making all of the stories of future issues available via audio stream and SAP (secondary audio programming) TV distribution, so it should afford a somewhat wider visibility for our writers.

We also have a contest running now, to write a story to match the picture provided (see this issues CONTENTS page for details). Submit the best story for this picture and your story will appear in the next issue.

Other features of nanobison include text only, PDF (Adobe Acrobat), and PDB (PalmDoc) download versions of the zine. Plus back issues are available as PDF downloads as well.

Check us out.

I was there last night. It's a great and well thought out site.

Thanks, SC, for sending in your story. It ("The Burning River") was a good story, but we had enough good new stuff in the queue that we didn't have time for reprints in the January 2006 issue (out now). Do try again!
