Yeah, for some reason my books can't stay off it this year. But My Sister's Keeper is currently #3 on Fictionwise's Dark Fantasy Bestseller list keeping company with Laurel K. Hamilton.
I'm delirious as a result of what a good year I've had.

Thanks guys. I have an online ed meeting with my editor on the second book in the series.
I really didn't think about what I was doing, I simply obsessed and wrote the entire set of books without stopping or coming up for air. I was still trying to sell book one, Sister, while I was finishing up book four Children of the Risen Dead. That goes against conventional wisdom that says to write just the first book and try something else while waiting for it to sell.
However, I read an interview with George R. R. Martin where he said that he wished he could have written his current series all the way through without deadlines, without having sold it first, because then he could have gone back and forth between the books, tightening and adding as he discovered what was needed in the later books. It would have allowed him to better foreshadow some of the things he did with it.
So, that's what I did, and maybe I'm not a complete bonehead. [:D]
