I just found out my young adult short story has been accepted by Beyond Centauri for the January issue. It's my first non-fantasy piece to be accepted. Special thanks to Ryan Harvey for providing some good feedback on it.
I've still got my fingers crossed on a few others...

Mine was eight months coming. Tyree apoligized for the delay. So maybe there's still hope.
Thanks all.
BTW, Mike, theres a comic/sf convention in Toronto this weekend and one of the guests is Michael Turner. It took me a second to realize it's the artist. Thought maybe you were sneaking in for some American Pastime signings. [;)]

Bruce,
yeah thats the younger but better known Michael Turner. Makes me glad I got out of comic fandom when I did, about six months after his first pro sale. (As an aside, he's really good)

Can't dispute that, Mike. He's running a workshop on how to draw women. [:)]
Neal Adams is guest of honour, and Joe Michael Straczynski, Mr. Babylon 5 himself, will be there. That's pretty well locked it for me.
I'll even see if I can plug some LoS.
