Paul Jessup's new print magazine, GrendelSong, is open to sword-and-sorcery stories. I know, because I just sold him a Calthus story. So those of you looking for places to submit your work ought to have GrendelSong on your list. Pay is 1 cent/word, response times are excellent (although likely to slow as more submissions roll in.)

Good luck! I'd post the URL for GrendelSong, but I forget it. Just Google it.

So far there is a nice buzz on Grendelsong, I added it to the short list of good Fantasy markets to send out my "Freehold" short stories to.

And Carnifex Press is a good Fantasy market too, right? /emoticons/yeah.gif LOL

Armand,
Nobody here is going to forget you! I mention you when ever anyone asks about fantasy markets, sometimes to the detriment of markets I've actually sold too!

Awesome! That's a boost to my ego... and with the Father's Dat breakfast the kids made me this morning - not sure what they did to the eggs but I had to eat them - it's turning into a nice weekend
