"Azieran: The Making of the Skullscron" has made it to the 2nd round of reading. Editor Misty Gersley said she truly enjoyed reading the piece and would let me know shortly. I enjoy getting these even if I don't get in,because at least I know it was a pretty good tale and I was competitive, regardless of a rejection. I have my fingers crossed, though.

I think this merits it...woo-hoo! Even if you get rejected at this point, I think that response indicates the storyis of high enough quality to get in, even if they might turn it down for other reasons.

I second the motion that it merits a "Woohoo!".

Chris,

Good luck with the tale, I haven't read it yet... even though Withersin is a Carnifex Press release I don't have my hands in the magazine on a daily basis, trusting Misty to get the fiction and articles ready for publication.

And for an FYI... Christopher Heath's "Azieran: Blood and Kings" will be sent to the printer Monday morning, so expect an announcement and ordering info from the usual places like www.CarnifexPress.net/store.php (http://www.CarnifexPress.net/store.php) as well as www.ProjectPulp.com (http://www.ProjectPulp.com) and www.Shocklines.com (http://www.Shocklines.com)
