Inception is a visual and semi-complex movie that I thoroughly enjoyed. The movie does not over explain itself which I like. You're allowed as the audience to experience the movie somewhat like the characters are experiencing the storyline. There is skipping from one reality to another without explanation giving you a confused outlook at first but in my opinion that only adds to identifying with the characters. Inception deals with a person's subconscious and dreams, going from one level to two levels (a dream within a dream) to a third level which is a dream within a dream within a dream. You get the idea. There are multiple dreams being shared by the characters and I have to say they explain and separate out the levels nicely so that you understand what is happening. The special affects are great but not over used. The story was great and I found myself truly feeling for the main character Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) who is desperate to get back to his children.
Now for the downside but there is very little. At the beginning of the movie I already knew the ending. There was a lot of predictability but all of that is overcome with a tense storyline and great action/special effects. I don't want to give away any more of the story other than I was left with question, good questions which is the mark of a great story in my opinion.
I give this movie a MUST SEE for all you science fiction fans. Best film of its kind this year.
(Ratings are MUST SEE, ENJOYED, ALRIGHT & WASTE OF TIME.)
