Struck is the first book by Jennifer Bosworth, as far as I can tell. It's a YA post apocalyptic novel with a rather unique main character and power. The basic premise is that a massive earthquake has destroyed LA, leaving only a single tower remaining in the ruins and a bunch of hungry survivors. One of the survivors ...Published on June 18, 2012 @ 9:57 PM Number of Views: 208

Revenants, by Daniel Mills

Revenants by Daniel Mills is a fascinating novel. Pre-colonial New England is the backdrop for this rich and moody tale. Personally being from Massachusetts and having read more than a bit of Hawthorne and other classic New England authors, I would have to say Mills captures the feeling of these early American novels. His work is an obvious tip of the hat to Hawthorne and is done well. ...Published on March 2, 2012 @ 2:58 PM Number of Views: 1115Categories:
