- I was born in Staffordshire, England and for thirty years worked as a zoo keeper, specialising in the care of wild cats, birds of prey and reptiles. I now live in the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia with my wife, also a former zoo keeper, and who now works in the art world. Here, following my early retirement from zoo keeping, I have continued to write multi-genre fiction in which ?ordinary people deal with the extraordinary?.
