Day Al-Mohamed has over 15 years experience providing policy analysis, technical assistance, and political strategy to individuals, organizations, committees and governing bodies on legislative and regulatory issues. She currently serves as Senior Policy Advisor for the U.S. Department of Labor. Prior to that, Ms. Al-Mohamed worked as a lobbyist for a number of organizations managing public interest policy activities in front of the U.S. Congress and at the United Nations.

Ms. Al-Mohamed holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia and hosts “Day in Washington,” one of the premier disability policy blogs/podcasts. An avid lover of fiction, Ms. Al-Mohamed is currently active in the Cat Vacuuming Society of Northern Virginia Writers’ Group, and hosts the multi-author writing blog, “Unleaded: Fuel for Writers.“
