Default thief of bagdad dvd with steve reeves

Would anyone know where to purchase a dvd of the Thief of Bagdad, which starred Steve Reeves.

It was always one of my favorite fantasy movies, but I can only find the other two, which had Douglas Fairbanks starring in the silent version, and Sabu starring in the 2nd movie version.

It might not be on DVD yet. IMDB.com doesn't have any DVD details listed. I'm still waiting for some movies to reach DVD myself - like Sergeant York and Northwest Passage.

Wow. I just looked on IMDB.com and the Sergeant York DVD comes out tomorrow! Now, that's a coincidence!

There are lots of the old sword and sandal movies not out on DVD yet. And you must watch for all the different titles it was relased under, if you can find them. Many of the old, bad 'hercules' titles are out under their italian titles.

If your satellite/cable provider carries Turner Classic Movies you might want to keep checking their schedule listings. I've seen both the Steve Reeves and Sabu versions of THIEF OF BAGDAD on TCM a couple of times.

And it makes it twice as hard to find them, as a lot of them weren't actually Hercules pictures at all, but dubbed Maciste, Ursus, Samson, Goliath and others. For example, I have no idea how you would ever know that Ursus il Terrore dei Kirghisi was the movie you saw in the sixties on a Saturday afternoontitled Hercules, Prisoner of Evil in the US. In the origianal, it was the hero Ursus scaring the Kirghisi, in the English version poor Herc was captured by Evil itself. Very confusing!
