First up is my debut horror novella, Frenzy:

Caught between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea...

Eight men wake up to find themselves on a life raft in the middle of an ocean. They are stranded and alone, with no memory of how they got there, and no idea if help is coming.
But they are not completely alone. As hours become days, as water rations dwindle and tempers fray, there stirs a threat more deadly than either sharks or each other.
There is a shadow in the abyss beneath their feet. Watching. Waiting. Stalking eight men lost and adrift above the deepest trench in the world?

Available in e-book format from Eternal Press: www.eternalpress.ca/frenzy.html

Also available in print paperback from Amazon:

    **************************************************

'The Blind Man' is to appear in Morrigan Books' Dead Souls Anthology, out Sept '09, and also featuring Ramsey Campbell among others!

Before God created light, there was darkness. Even after He illuminated the world, there were shadows ? shadows that allowed the darkness to fester and infect the unwary. The tales found within Dead Souls explore the recesses of the soul; those people and creatures that could not escape the shadows. From the inherent cruelness of humanity to malevolent forces, Dead Souls explores the depths of humanity as a lesson to the ignorant, the naive and the unsuspecting. God created light, but it is a temporary grace that will ultimately fail us, for the darkness is stronger and our souls?are truly dead.

'The Discomfort of Words' in the Grants Pass Anthology, out now, and also featuring Jay Lake, Ed Greenwood and Cherie Priest.

    The apocalypse has arrived.
Humanity was decimated by bio-terrorism; three engineered plagues were
let loose on the world. Barely anyone has survived.
Just a year before the collapse, Grants Pass, Oregon, USA, was publicly labelled as a place of sanctuary in a whimsical online, ?what if? post.
Now, it has become one of the last known refuges, and the hope, of
    mankind.
Would you go to Grants Pass based on the words of someone you?ve never met?

Greetings! I've been selling shortstories for nearly a year now, and I have a few links up for people to check out. To date, I've sold 32 stories (21 to paying markets, all this year), mostly fantasy. I've gotten a little better at it, so hopefully more sales andbetter stories are forthcoming. I've also written two epic fantasy novels for which I'm seekingquality publishers (might have a long wait there, but so be it)and I'm about halfway through an urban fantasy novel that's going pretty well.

Most of these stories should appeal to a broad age group, but there's acouple of them in the horror genrethat kids probably shouldn't read do to theviolence level. Might be a minor swear word or two in there somewhere as well.

I'll do a better list when I update my website, which will hopefully be next week some time depending on the result of some discussions with my provider on how best to do it.

For now, http://www.jenniferrpovey.com/writing.html should do it.
