Default Bragging Congrats Etiquette

Is it, or is it not, appropriate for members of a publication that has benefited by the acceptance of an individual's work to then congratulate that individual in a public forum such as this? It would be convenient if the consensus is 'Yes'

I usually wait a couple of days and see if the writer does it themselves. If not, I post something.

Of course you can, we're just all patting each other on the back with some 'atta boys' and keeping each other informed, I don't think theres any conflict between the acceptor and the acceptee -- I've congratulated several people that I picked for Magic and Mechanica in the past.

I just seems like it could come across as either favoritism or a tad condescending is all - believe me, I don't mean either and I want to congratulate - just don't want to be the cause of another hubbub is all - at least not this one

I agree with the others. Go ahead.

I don't think anyone would be offended.
