I just read the Solomon Kane collection a few months ago, and it seems like they've really overhauled the character in their Hollywood version. I thought the whole point of Solomon Kane was that he was set out to do the Lord's work, and set sinners right and be a champion for the weak and meek, and those maligned by injustice--rather than be devoted to a life of peace and forced to fight. Just from a one paragraph description I already have all sorts of red flags going up. Looks like they're doing to Solomon what they've done to Conan, which is a shame. Having said all that, the poster does look really cool, so maybe it'll be worthwhile.
