    Should be laying it out in InDesign and exporting to pdf from InDesign. I hope you're not laying it out in Word, then doing all the work you mentioned and then trying to do something in InDesign?
    No, I'm not laying it out in Word. I use InDesign.

    I've known ONE person who could lay something out in Word and have it look good. Only one.

    No, all Word is for is to open the document and make sure I haven't gotten a file that says 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy' over and over and over.

    Using Word and then using a 'Save As... PDF' or another 'Word to PDF' automation is asking to end up with bad justification, crappy kerning, double print issues, ophans, widows, and all that other ugly stuff that a few hours with InDesign can prevent.

    I use the correct tools for the correct job.

    IF Wildturkey.obj == TRUE
    THEN Happy.obj ++4
    fcall getbooze.lib
    ELSE Happy.obj -- 2
    IF Women.obj == TRUE
    Then Happy.obj ++10
    ELSE Happy.obj -- 2
    fcall getwoman.lib
    IF firearm.obj == TRUE
    Then Happy.obj ++ 2
    ELSE Happy.obj --1
    END CODE

    That's great, 50 Foot Ant! I guess not long now?

    Nope, not long now.

    BTW-You're story was neat. (I sometimes read the stories when I'm laying them out)

    IF Wildturkey.obj == TRUE
    THEN Happy.obj ++4
    fcall getbooze.lib
    ELSE Happy.obj -- 2
    IF Women.obj == TRUE
    Then Happy.obj ++10
    ELSE Happy.obj -- 2
    fcall getwoman.lib
    IF firearm.obj == TRUE
    Then Happy.obj ++ 2
    ELSE Happy.obj --1
    END CODE

    Glad to hear you're using InDesign--automatic quality control. I use it at work and love it.

    Looking forward to seeing the new issue.

    Any teasers art teasers yet?

    With the delay on Issue 12, are we going to move everything back one cycle, Feb issue to May, May issue to August, etc...

    Teasers would rock. Maybe a TOC?

    Cheers,
