Hi, I'm Tim Willard, and like it was mentioned, I've been put in charge of layout for the magazine.

First thing first, layout is being completely redone, and like any new project, the lack of pre-built templates is slowing me down somewhat. However, once the templates for InDesign are finished, following magazines will all sport a cohesive format that will only have a little tweaking down the line. During layout, I'm also working closely with my boss and my fellow staffmembers.

Second, the Art Director (Owen Kuhn) is working closely with me, and certain artwork considerations are being addressed that is taking a bit of time also.

We're shooting for the end of December for the final product being ready to go.

Hi there, Owen Kuhn here (as referenced above). Like the Ant said, we're spending obscene amounts of time in chat over the re-design of the magazine and getting it done. As with any product getting a new crew dumped on it, we find ourselves with a lot to get done all of a sudden, but so far we're taking it all in pretty well.
