Issue 13 is moving forward!

Hi everyone,

Firstly I wanted to reassure everyone that FS is alive and to apologize for the intermittent communication of late. Life has been exceptionally busy, hectic and occasionally frustrating for my household during the months of August and July. Being quite honest this entire summer seems to have flown.

I also wanted to let everybody know that Issue 13 is actually making progress. I sent the selected content to our layout team just over a week ago on Sunday the 13th of September. At this point it looks as if we are shooting for a November 1st release date. The 50 ft Ant or I will be posting the confirmed Table of Contents and a cover image as soon as we can so that all of you lovely contributors and supporters can spread the word!

Now, as Issue 13 is out of my hands I have already begun reading for Issue 14 aka ?Double Dealing?. I am firmly keeping in mind the backlog of previously contracted stories as well as considering current submissions. If you are a previously contracted author and you didn?t make it into Issue 13, I assure you: you have not been forgotten or dismissed. I plan on contacting folks individually as I read their submissions and I fully intend to read those first to see how and where they might fit with my generally themed plan.

Hey, thanks for the update. It's good to see some FS posts here again. Since you moved to your own forums it feels like there's a FS shaped hole here.
