Default Shocklines is not closing down

Shocklines is not closing down..well not fully anyway.

The forum and website will still be there.
The guy who runs Shocklines is just worn out...and who can blame him.

Yes, its hard to blame him. Most people who try doing something like Shocklines have a social net around them when they start-- a wife, best friend, people who come over and help out and keep it real etc. Doing it alone is a ticket to insanity and depression.

Its hard enough to find your way in the world without locking yourself in your house and working eighty hours a week.

Its a damn shame the store is going though.

I agree. It was a convenient place to obtain a large variety of small press titles.

The way I understood it, the Shocklines storeis remaining open only to sell off the remaining inventory.

There's an oppotunity here for someone, with a support group, to take over the Shocklines distribution part of the website.

I cannot believe that the poor guy never asked for help...or that no one offered to help.

It might be closed by now, you'll have to go check the website.
