Well, um...
Due to a busy day, submissions didn't officially close until about 5PM today, Monday the 1st of February. But they are now closed and the most recent count has 15 different cultures and 16 different games submitted. Once all the stories are read I'll have a better grasp on that and I may or may not update those numbers with more specifics, we'll see.
thanks for subbing guys - here's to success for the lot of ye!
Sorry I didn't get anything to you, Jason. I'll try for the next one.

I believe Jason is hinting at the next Clash of Steel anthology, which very well could be the next RBE anthology accepting subs. If memory serves, Clash of Steel: Demons is supposed to come out sometime over the next few months, give or take.
David, in case you didn't realize it, RBE puts out two types of anthologies (so far). One is the "Rogue Blades Presents" anthologies with red covers. The other is the "Clash of Steel" anthologies with black covers. The CoS anthologies tend to be a little more sword than sorcery, though I don't want to speak too much for Jason.

Yeah, I knew Clash of Steel: Demons was a previouly released (but with additional material) antho, I just didn't know it was anything seperate. Red and Black I missed that.
So now I'm wondering about Clash of Steel: Assassin's.
Lots of potential there to come up with rousing tales, while avoiding cliche.

Yes, David; pretty spot-on, Ty.
Assassins: A Clash of Steel will be the next antho opening to subs. It is a re-issue of the original 5 stories, plus enough stories to get up to the 90-100k word mark.
After that, late this summer the next R-series title will open.

This is awesome. I had nothing for the Roar of the Crowd antho, but I have one I really like for the "Assassins" project.
