"late this summer the next R-series title will open."

Got a theme in mind? A little advance notice for the SFReader crowd, eh? We'd all appreciate it!

I have the next dozen themes sketched out, just haven't decided on which one will actually be next. As for advance notice...standard R-series protocols apply: advance notices go first to those in the latest R-series release in the last month of production, and then to those who get their hands on copies of the book, hopefully through sales, in the first two months of release. Then it gets publicly announced on the RBE site...and here at SFReader.

    Jason,

Looks like I'll be in the second round to be notified, so that's cool and should give me plenty of time to figure something out if it's something I would write (I don't write historical fiction, so had to sit out this latest round for Roar of the Crowd Not saying I would have got an acceptance, just saying I was never in the running.

At any rate, just throwing this out there as a thought and you could ignore it, but have a readers' poll as to what they would like to see next and give them a list of options. You can keep the results private and inform the public to the theme as per your protocol. The poll itself would allow some fan interaction with the company and allow you to put out the theme that would probably sell best. Some fun market research, as it were. Just a thought, something to consider...

Also...dozen themes?!?!?! Wow, you're in it for the long haul! Glad you like my writing for the most part.

Yeah, I have a story (unwritten as yet but with the plot pretty much tightly down) that I think is perfect for CoS: Assassins. So you really should get an offering for that one.

Not a bad idea, Chris. I think I shall use it.

After some consideration (and wise counsel), I've determined that there will be a total of 13 R-Series RBE Presents titles. 3 down, 10 to go. I know the 10, titles and themes determined, but the poll idea may just be the way to determine order of appearance...

...and of course I'm in this for the long haul. Despite my dismal time management lately, I intend to be pushing RBE titles for many years
