I am looking for a SF book with horror and the protagonist is some like like James Bond. Is there any thing similar?

Guy N. Smith wrote a series of books that fall into the 007 horror catergory.
The characters name was Sabat.
Probably only available through used bookshops.
Dennis Wheatley had a few similar novels also.
His character was Julien May.
Same story via used bookstores.
