Absolute Magnitude is a science fiction comic I write for DC Comics' online imprint, Zuda Comics. It updates every Friday, and is completely free to read.

The story involves the crew of the StormBrew -- a bunch of semi-outlaw treasure-hunters -- trying to recover a gem made of pure light from a planet with failing gravity. The gem proves to be a bit more than they bargained for...

I just read through what you got so far. Very entertaining, and I like many of the concepts, especially the "Calcs". Very quick-paced opening to the story, which is fun, though it may be more of a problem than an asset, since we're 17 pages in and I still don't have much of a feel for the characters. There's enough of a unique feel to this comic that I'll be sticking with it for a while longer, though, so you've got time.
