Yeah, Duotrope is now showing 374 responses in the past year. And precisely one of those is a sale.
Tough market.

I just received a rejection from WT, a 235 day response time. And yes, its a tough market and always has been, that's why I want in.

A few days ago i got a 200-something day personal reject from them. Close but not quite close enough. One of these days i shall crack you, Weird Tales. And then there shall be joyous celebrations lasting long into the early hours. Possibly longer, but probably shorter. I need to work on my celebrating.

Well Ann is catching up. She rejected my submission of 1/9/10 on 8/23/10 and my submission of 3/13/10 on 9/6/10. Looks like she is getting through the backlog smartly.

Length of time doesn't mean anything in terms of a likely sale or not does it? In fact it probably means a more likely rejection?
Although finally writing to a place like this will probably mean my response will end up in my mailbox tomorrow or something, I've been watching this thread and a few others across the net with people reporting their submissions coming in but I haven't recieved anything yet. I sent it on 1/3/2010. I sent an email back around May or so asking if it had been recieved (I wasn't aware wait-times this high were going on) and Ann eventually responded that if I'd sent it by snail mail (I did) then she'd probably recieved it, and that she was running behind.
I live in Canada so that could delay a response a little bit -- but not really a whole lot since I'm in one of the main cities.
