I fell over in the garden yesterday and badly sprained my ankle... Which hurts. And makes sitting at the computer for any length of time rather painful... Rude and disgusting words!

Just noticed my signature line was missing. Don't know if I deleted it at some point or not and then didn't restore it. I'm always tinkering with online stuff, so anything is possible. So I made a new one and I'm testing it in this thread. If it works, I'll feel a flicker of happiness.
But back to topic: Man, that sucks. Got to keep it elevated.
One word: Bourbon.
'Course I'm not sure what it'll do for your writing.

Thank you guys for the kind words - and tough ones!
Now less gardening and more writing. he he. Just elevate on Percy and you will be fine
How does sitting down cause pain to your ankle??![]()
Makes it swell up and throb. And yes guys - we're talking about my ankle... Thank you for the continuing interest. At the risk of becoming a bore, it is STILL giving me grief, though at least I can now sit and write for a decent time.
Write in bed with the foot on a pillow (you have a laptop, right?). And yes, bourbon (or in your part of the world, scotch) will definitely help. Get well soon!
