Writer seeking sci fi/speculative fiction agent lists to query...

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone knows about any sci fi specific forums/publishing lists that may be out there. I am querying agents right now and I have had a hard time finding sci-fi/fantasy agents or publishers. Anyone know of any resources or websites that specialize in sci fi publishers and agents?
I know about sites like Predators & Editors, but I haven't found much on those sites in the way of agents that represent sci-fi or speculative work. Any suggestions are welcome!

Start with Predators and Editors, and then take a look at Writer Beware. Avoid those agents/publishers on those two lists that have a lot of complaints against them.

For agents, have you tried Agent Query?

Using the full search option, you can specify the genre that the agents represent, whether they're members of AAR, if they're seeking new clients, and if they accept e-mail queries. Looking at the websites of the agents you've selected would also be a good idea, of course.

Actually, a recently published author just blogged on the Blackgate website about finding an agent. He talks about the things he did right, and also shares his mistakes. I thought it was a worthwhile read. Here's the link:
