Hello, everyone! My name is Jessica McHugh and I'm an author of speculative fiction that spans the genre from horror to alternate history to epic fantasy. Along with short stories appearing in online and print magazines, my five published novels ?Camelot Lost?, ?A Touch of Scarlet?, ?Song of Eidolons?, ?From the Herald?s Wearied Eye?, and ?The Sky: The World? are available across the web in print and ebook.
?Maladrid?, the first book in my ?Tales of Dominhydor? fantasy series was recently released by Double Dragon Publishing and the second book, "Yven", is due to come out in January 2011. Also in early 2011, Reliquary Press is releasing my YA horror novella, "Danny Marble & the Application for Non-Scary Things". Presently, I am revising the third book in my Dominhydor series, as well as a horror/suspense called "Rabbits in the Garden" and a historical fiction about Christopher Marlowe, "Verses of Villainy". I wrote my first play this year, "Fools call it Fate: a story of sex, coincidence, and an electronic cigarette", and it was chosen for a staged reading at Mobtown Theatre. It's currently in the running against two others to win a full production. Please cross as many fingers as you can for me!
