Looking for the title of a book (info provided in post)

Greetings,

I registered on this site in the hopes of finding someone who knows the title of a book I've been searching for for the better part of the last two years. I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

Here's what I remember:

1. Book was published between 2006-2007 (found it on the new releases shelf when visiting a B&N with an ex-gf - hence the timestamp I have for this release).
2. Involved humans being cryogenically frozen on a space ship
3. Humans were sent to a different world on a huge spaceship whilst frozen
4. Most people had amnesia (I think, not sure if this is true, or if I'm mixing this with another book-cover I read during the same visit.
5. Religion was abolished on this new world

That's all I can recall. I truly regret not purchasing the book at the time, since the summary has always stuck with me, and has made me realize that the story would have definitely piqued my interest.

I was wondering if anyone has read it, or the back cover, and remembers what it was called, and/or who had authored it.

Cold Sleep by Orson Scott Card? Not publish in 2006-2007 though - it's pretty old. Maybe a re-release?

Any other details? Character names, world name, ship name. etc?

Hi, Thanks for the response!

After performing a query on "Orson Scott Card" and "Cold Sleep", I've found that the book you're referring to is "Earthfall", which is not the book I am referring too, at least not when I re-read the summary. The people, psoiibly survivors, were taken on a spaceship to a different planet from Earth, where religion was disallowed. I know there was more, but I can't remember what it was at this point.

This sounds vaguely similar, but it's missing the religion factor. Regardless, I'll definitely pick up this book, since it sounds awesome from I've read on Wikipedia.
