Thumbs down Call for Dorchester Boycott

Not sure if any of you are regular shoppers of Dorchester/Leisure titles, but it seems they've been remiss in paying authors and honouring rights. The most complete scoop I've seen is on author Brian Keene's blog - and I have seen personally some books up for sale on Amazon's Kindle shop that shouldn't be:

Sounds just like the problems authors had with Ghostwriter Publications in the UK.

Thanks for posting this...I sent their Leisure horror editor a query regarding a story last year and got a favourable reply. Luckily I haven't finished the horror novel yet.

The paper publishing market is suffering due to the ever increasing popularity of ebooks.
Dorchester won't be the last paper print publisher we see going the way of the dodo.
Hopefully other publishers will close up shop more gracefully.

Hard to boycott something I didn't buy much to begin with, but I guess I can go along with it.

I was wondering what the latest was with the Dorchester fiasco...now I know. Wow.
