Hey Dave
The other day I downloaded the FREE Kindle PC reader from Amazon.com
I was surprised to find it was free, to tell the truth. But great that it was.
I then went straight to the SF section and downloaded sample chapters of two different MilSF novels, written by self ebook published indie authors.
I've read a couple of chapters of each book and both seem well written and interesting.
If I'm still enjoying them by the time I've finished the sample chapters I'll pay the author asking price of $2.99 per novel and buy the whole ebook.
Which brings me to: I think with so many indie authors (and pros for that matter) now self publishing ebooks on Kindle and other sites, that it's time we had an ebook section on SFR.
Somewhere we can make mention of the good or bad ebooks we've read, recommend (or not as the case may be) an author we like/dislike.
Post up reviews of the ebooks we've read.
The self published ebook market is getting bigger every day and I've been surprised by the names of well known authors I've come across already, many of them using ebokks to re-publish their novels that are out of paper print.
What does everyone / anyone else think?
Cheers: Jaq
