Thread: Introducing shane Porteous!

    Default Introducing shane Porteous!

Hello everyone, I am a first time published author (but more on that a bit later). I have written all kinds of stories my entire life even before I could read (The funny thing is now if I come across those old dusty pages I have no idea what I was trying to say, ha ha).

I have always enjoyed stories that are unconventional and a little bit different. But with that said they still must be well written. I enjoy Japanese anime and manga in particular The Berserk series by kentaro Miura. I like the works of David Gemmell and Robert Holdstock. Lately however I have really enjoyed going onto sites like smashwords where I can find the works of independent authors.

I will finish off by saying if anyone is interested in reading one of my stories than please help yourself to a copy of my 100 percent free e-book Oodumay, here is a link where you can get it from, enjoy!

    Hi Shane

    Welcome to SF Reader.

I like Gemmell myself. The man made sword and sorcery popular again in the last couple of decades.

Welcome! Yeah, the Gemmell love will make up for your consumption of the Japanese stuff, which I consider a failing common to the younger generation.
