Thread: Closing the magazine

  1. Default Closing the magazine

I hate to do this but I have no choice.

Mostly because there's only one of me and I need to put what time I have into the books side of the CWP house, I am closing down Abandoned Towers.

If anyone is interested in taking over the magazine, let me know. I'll give it to you. It's been publishing for quite a while now, is pretty well known. The only expense you'd have is getting the domain name transfered over to yourself and getting hosting for the site.

If I don't hear from anyone by the 1st of August this year, then it will go offline.

Sorry to hear that - I hope someone decides to pick it up!

    I echo Dave's thoughts, Kelly.

It has been picked up, they are open to submissions again. I just had a story accepted there.

Yeah, just to let you know Abandoned Towers is still alive and accepting subs and will also be having a huge writing contest soon with some giant cash prizes!

I still work for the magazine and have perhaps become the magazines one constant feature... ha ha. So look forward to more fun and excitement heading your way. We intend to try some new things and make Abandoned Towers bigger and better than ever!

That's good news, Mike. I thought AT was dead as a door nail. I haven't logged on over there in a while. I'll look forward to seeing the new things that are coming.
