Miles Boothe just accepted "Rancho Diablo," the fourth Mordecai Slate tale I've written. This one finds Slate on the trail of a lycanthrope fleeing across the Sonoran Desert. The new anthology is called "The Trigger Reflex" and will be published by Pill Hill Press. It's a sequel to "Leather, Denim and Silver: Legends of the Monster Hunter."
