Anne McCaffrey RIP
News from the British Fantasy Society:
Award-winning SFF author Anne McCaffrey ? best known for her Dragonriders of Pern fantasy series and author/co-author of over 100 books ? has died at her home in Ireland following a stroke, it has been reported. She was 85.

Yeah..I read this early AM my time.
I only read a couple of the Pern Dragonrider books.
Had the first novel in the original cloth bound edition.
Think I gave it to a friend in the UK when we emigrated to Oz.
Like we've said before...all the great SF authors of our youth are passing away.
Inevitable but sad.
I hope Anne finds her dragons.
