Thread: Sale to Fiction365

    Default Sale to Fiction365

2012 has started with a bang, and this time, my sale has more to do with literary fiction than anything in the genre. I sold my short literary story entitled "Mercedes" to the online mag fiction365.com, which marks my first sale there.

A nice market for those non-genre stories you might have, or for those that straddle the lines.

Thanks guys! Really happy with the way 2012 has started. I usually have to wait a few weeks before the first sale of the year (with that little voice in my mind that says: "you won't sell anything at all this year. You're washed up. Editors have finally realized that your prose is whale dreck."

And then comes a sale and the sigh of relief!

    Congrats Gustavo!

Also, wow, Fiction365??? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I suppose. Who's behind this site? I couldn't find their name on the site.

Found him: Benjamin Wachs. And the site has been going for over a year. Good on him (especially since he accepts up to 4K words! Holy balls that must be a lot of slush for one dude to go through).
