I popped the clutch and decided to hire the consultant to revamp SFReader. Over the next couple of months, some changes should happen, hopefully for the better.

New look, new verbage, some online promotion, easier (hopefully) navigation, and a bunch of other stuff....

How much does a consultant cost Dave?

Good on you for continually trying to improve SF Reader.

I'd like to say thanks for the years that I've already been lucky enough to be a member here.

After the analysis portion, which was very thorough. I decided not to implement all the recommendations - those I've chosen to implement will be phase 1 - if traffic picks up, they'll most likely be another phase of mods later....

I have a confidentiality agreement with the consultant that pertains in part to the price. He provided an analysis and report, which was very thorough, and then we decided on a multiple phase implementation, with a lot more in the works as traffic picks up. There's a lot of work involved, and you'll likely be seeing the new SFReader in the coming months.

I hope it works; this place used to be a neat hangout and a daily stopping point. I hope it will be again.
