    Default Ancient Rising......coming soon!

    []

Hello everyone, here's where I shamelessly let you know about my new novel I just completed (wasn't sure if it went here or shameless self promotion).

My novel, Ancient Rising, is completed. It's currently being sent out for reviews (including here at SFReader.com - someone please review it! [}] )

It will be released worldwide on October 1st. It will be available on all the typical websites (Amazon, B&N, Borders, Books-a-million).

However, if you keep an eye on my website, www.delatorrewriting.com they'll be a chance for you to get it a month early and if you buy two (for you and your best friend) you'll get free shipping.

    So, what's it about?

Here is the synopsis for the book ?
In the first chapter of the Ancient Rising trilogy, recent widower Dan Ryan is visited by a strange being claming to be the Greek God Hermes. This eccentric character tells him that the Greek Gods of myth are real ? and imprisoned on Atlantis ? and only Dan can free them. Grief stricken and believing he has little else to live for ? he decides to follow the self proclaimed deity's instructions and seeks out an archaeologist who is in search of the lost continent. What follows is an adventurous journey to Greece, Egypt, Spain and eventually ? Atlantis itself. Along the way Dan battles with his own sanity, his relationship with God, an attraction to a young companion, sharks, pirates, murderers, an evil billionaire bent on finding Atlantis first, zombies, confusing clues, and the never-ending sarcasm of Hermes. All this ? and they haven?t even gotten to the island nation yet ? where awaiting them is something much, much worse.

So anyway, keep an eye on the website for news on the release and when it comes out, I sincerely hope you will all enjoy it.

Thanks Rob, I only hope that someone who does reviews for SFReader will be willing to give it a look. I'm excited about it but I understand that this site is not a marketing site. If I get a bad review, I get a bad review. Hopefully that won't be the case.

The way I look at it, even bad publicity would be good - because at least the name is out there.
