The new poetic Edda? Send to me in rft . . . They fit perfectly for Acheron's Shores.
I'm rather fond of Norse and related mythos, but I must confess that the Eddas are rather abstract in my view. I think these are really cool as Edda meets haiku. sort of. It's the dacence of the Eddas that eludes me, but I get a much more lyrical feel to this for a sequence. Any more whence these come?

No chains, please. And, at the moment, no more whence those came from either. They actually were a bit of work, but my excitement carried me through them. The next batch might be a bit longer in the crafting.
I appreciate the comments David. You must have a higher tolerance for abusive use of a defined pattern than Daniel does.
I appreciate your comments even more after reading your admission to a fondness for things Norse. I must admit to a lack of much knowledge of the Edda form, though.
Thanks foreven reading them.

Having recently finished and enjoyed my first Iain Banks novel ("Consider Phlebas") , I felt further entitled to read a slipstream space opera by one of my favorite authors, Charles Stross.

Each and every night I’d be awoken around 3am with hands poking me and/or indecipherable voices in my ear. A few times what felt like a small animal crawled over my legs. I was still being sexually...
I'm not much of a science fiction reader any more. From my fading memories a few names come to mind. David Drake and Jerry Pournelle for military sf, and or course William Gibson for cyberpunk.
I don't have an issue with a short story or promotional book published at $0.99, and I like $2.99 for novellas. For novels? E-books equate well with mass-market paperbacks, whch usually go for...
