Default Mordecai Slate book nears publication

    Hi Gang,

Just wanted to let everybody know that I've been off the forum for the most part the last month in order to finish the Mordecai Slate novel by the March 31 deadline. Happy to say I sent it March 30 a day early. The editor got back to me already and called it "a first rate adventure with very interesting characters." There were the usual editorial things that have to be fixed, but he's already hired an artist to do the cover. I'm anxious to see the first pictorial depiction of Slate. I'll keep you posted as events unfold.

Good luck with it. Strangely, I've been busy with a 3/31 deadline too. Even if it goes nowhere, I'm happy to have it out of my hands for now.
